Friends Walking Book Program

For those who cannot get to the library on a temporary or long-term basis, Friends of the Door County Libraries volunteers will deliver library books in regular print, large print or audio format.

The Friends of Door County Libraries invites you to visit their “Shop the Shelves” Book Sales - at the DC Library in Sturgeon Bay.   Open Monday-Friday (usually from 9-5  Ask at the desk for availability or call 920-743-6578)  
   Choose from a wide array of modestly-priced, well-organized and sorted items, including
  • beach / vacation reading material
  • beautiful coffee table art books
  • children’s selections (picture books to YA)
  • contemporary and vintage classics
  • like-new (and giftable)
  • recently published fiction
  • hardcover and paperback books
Bonus:  At the Saturday sales, customers will be able to visit the overflow rooms, as well as  browse the thousands of titles always available in the Friends' Meeting Room areas. Proceeds from The Friends' book sales fund programs and projects benefitting patrons at all eight of our Door County Libraries.
